Information
- Auditions are required if you want to enroll in the advanced-level Chamber Orchestra, Wind Ensemble, Jazz Ensemble, Show Choir or the intermediate-level Symphonic Orchestra, Symphonic Band, and Chorus 2. Contact Ms. Roberts (Jazz/Orchestra), Mr. Oldham (Bands), or Mrs. Hernandez-Cata (Choirs, Piano, & AP Music Theory) if you have any questions about these classes.
- Auditions are not required if you want to enroll in the entry-level Concert Orchestra, Concert Band, or Chorus 1.
- Placement will be emailed to you as soon as possible.

Procedures have been shared in class. Email Ms. Roberts if you would like to join Jazz Ensemble.
What to Bring and Prepare:
1. Complete the online Information Sheet before your audition.
2. Prepare the excerpts for your instrument(s) listed below. You may audition for more than one instrument and more than one ensemble.
3. You will be asked to perform scales (up to 4 sharps and 4 flats).
**Note for string students: You must play at least two octaves, quarter note = 86, (slurring two eighth notes per bow for two octaves, three triplets per bow for three octaves) and the arpeggio.
4. You may be asked to perform sight-reading.
